The first chamber theatre of Kazan Theatre.Act is founded by the duet of young and talented directors  Angelina Migranova and Rodion Sabirov. Theatre.Act is akin to little European theatres, it is a place of the constant theatre process and experiment. This theatre is on a thin ice to turn around the audience`s mind. That is why McDonagh, with his montage-based plays, is uniquely placed here.

The directors have managed to present the most complicated topic of mother-daughter interaction easy and delicately. Harmonious cast and accurate forethought production – everything is made to a high professional standard. Everything is real: a kitchen in an Irish chalet with the smell of coffee and food, a boiling kettle, a dining table, family photos, an old mother sitting in a rocking chair, a beautiful grown-up daughter, emotional Irish melodies… However, the mother and daughter start talking with each other, all this cosiness is being steeped in the struggle, manipulations, insults and selfishness… We are about to understand reasons of these love-hate relationships, but also to give a good hearty laugh at cross-talks, as if they are taken from real life.
