O-H. LATE LOVE. Director Dmitriy Krymov

This is our passion, our experiences that excite us and guide us. The characters of our play are “at the lower depths”, where one may be strangled for a penny without hesitation. And at this bottom of society for no reason at all settles love, which should  not even come near such a place. It is like a butterfly, which flies into the coal mine. However, the butterfly in a coal mine, too, is not quite a butterfly, it has “mutated”. Here all has “mutated” - love and money - all has acquired a hypertrophied, but yet ordinary meaning. Human feelings are the inner mechanism of this play, in general, no one of the inhabitants wants to have them, they are sold and bought, but some still believe in them.
