The title of the play is interlinks with the story of Lazarus, whom was resurrected of by Jesus Christ. In my interpretation this event takes place against Lazarus’s will. In my opinion, this is human use of human beings.
For me the play lies in two main related areas: an experiment in the field of language and an experiment with theatre. Personally it was important to address questions of human existence, their depending on language. In my opinion, to some extent the language is the chains that fetter man. And in my play the hero tries to escape from them.
It does not matter what language do the actors speak. And in this production we use a non-existent language: I invented it together with my sister Claudia, and Alena Shumakova made a translation in collaboration with my sister. They actually translated every word from one non-existent language to a new non-existent language. And it was important, because this production reflect the nature of any language.
