Another production of Mickiewicz's poetic drama, this time interpreted by Lithuanian Master Eimuntas Nekrošius - theatre visionary known for his unique theatrical language.

“Spirituality, power of rite, sense of community and tragedy of individual; the national and existential aspects” – these are main topic of the performance.

Starring such renowned Polish actors as Danuta Stenka and Grzegorz Małecki, Nekrošius’ Forefathers’ Eve is both symbolic and political; dream-like images turn the national Polish tragedy into an universal, surreal tale about freedom and courage.
